“Rosa was home early from university which was a big relief to me, so at least we were all together. We cook a lot of our meals from scratch so we always have pulses, rices, beans etc in our cupboard but were concerned about reports of empty shelves in the shops. We knew we’d probably get along together pretty well, but it would be more difficult for our daughters to be stuck indoors. Our big worry was for our elder relatives at home on their own.”
